The Ice Gate

Description

The Ice Gate is an RPG fantasy side quest centered on themes of magic, deception and an unnatural season. Skelgar Hollow is freezing from the inside out, water turns to ice beside warm hearths, and a faint blue seam of light flickers over the northern marsh. Hunters have vanished on the Frostfen trail, and old tales speak of a wind shrine and a ruined keep that once held something terrible at bay. Follow the cairns through the White Reed Flats, brave the haunted fen and the icebound dead, and seek the Ice Keystone hidden beneath the Ruined Keep of Varron. With the North Wind Canticle in hand, descend into the Ice Gate's chambers and confront the Ice Arbiter before the Thawing Gate opens and winter becomes eternal.
